App features
Goose has several features designed to help with different types of heritage marketing challenges.
Thinking partners
Thinking partners bring specialist expertise to your conversations. They represent different roles you might find in heritage organisations and can offer perspectives from their area of expertise.
When to use: When you need specialised input from roles like marketing managers, fundraising experts, audience development specialists, or community engagement professionals.
How to use: Ask Goose to bring in a specific thinking partner: "Can you bring in the Digital Marketing Manager to help with this?"
Choose partners based on the specific expertise you need rather than for variety.
Interview mode
Interview mode let's you share your story. Your experiences matter. Whether you've run a brilliant campaign, solved a tricky problem, or learned from something that didn't quite work capturing your experience is valuable. It will make Goose more valuable for you - ensuring it knows what you've tried in the past - but could also help other heritage professionals facing similar challenges if you choose to share.
When to use: When you want to capture progress or campaign successes that you'd like Goose to remember about for future conversations and if you want to share back those experiences to the community
How to access: Ask Goose to "go into interview mode" when you want to explore a topic in depth.
Response styles
You can choose how Goose responds to match your needs:
- Normal: Standard conversational style
- Short: Concise, focused responses with essential information only
- Analytical: Detailed responses with thorough analysis and multiple perspectives
Document creation
Goose can create and work with documents to help you develop strategies, plans, and reference materials systematically.
When to use: For building something substantial that you'll want to reference, edit, or share with colleagues.
How it works: Ask Goose to create a document for a specific purpose, and it will build content that you can then edit and develop further.
Welsh language support
Goose can communicate in Welsh (Cymraeg) as well as English. If you start a conversation in Welsh, Goose will continue in Welsh throughout.

Goose is brought to you by the Arts Marketing Association. It has been made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Grow phase of their Heritage Innovation Fund.
